Export earnings in May stood at $3.02 billion, which is 6.50 per cent higher than the $2.84 billion earned in the same month of the fiscal year 2015.
The country’s export earnings in the July-May period of the current fiscal year 2015-2016 stood at $30.66 billion with an 8.95-per cent growth from the same period of the previous fiscal year, riding on a continued rise in readymade garment exports. According to the provisional data of the Export Proportion Bureau, export earnings in May stood at $3.02 billion, which is 6.50 per cent higher than the $2.84 billion earned in the same month of the FY15.
