Business Networking Event – 2024

France Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCIFB) conducted a Successful Business Networking Event with Focus on Internal Development and Strengthened Bilateral Ties on 13th November, 2024 at the Westin Dhaka where it proudly reflected on the growing momentum of its internal development initiatives and the deepened bonds between business leaders from Bangladesh and France.

This event not only emphasized the Chamber’s ongoing commitment to enhancing the strength, advancing operational strategies including expansion of Member Services with new programs designed to support business growth, strengthening Bilateral Partnerships through focused discussions and industry-specific sessions to help them navigate the complexities of international business and unity of its membership base, but also highlighted key opportunities and current challenges for cross-border collaboration to support each other in achieving their business objectives.
The event, which gathered senior executives, entrepreneurs, and industry experts from both countries, provided a unique platform for business leaders to explore, connect and exchange ideas. The former Presidents of CCIFB, Mr. Shah Sayed Kamal, Mr. Syed Farhad Ahmed, Mr. Humayun Rashid, Mr. M. Maksud, Mr. Maruf Alam and Mr. Shafquat Matin shared the extensive experiences regarding their respective business sectors and also enlightened us by offering well-considered insights to administer the Chamber’s upcoming initiatives.

Mr. Md. Muin Uddin Mazumder, President of the CCIFB, in his speech highlighted the current global and national environmental and economic transformation. “The current Interim government has taken a number of comprehensive initiatives to reform different sectors. Requesting assistance from international organizations like the IMF and World Bank appears to be aligned to stabilize the economy of our country” he said. He congratulated the member companies for their growth and success despite of various adversities. He also shared the future activity road-map of the CCIFB. “Our focus continues to be on expanding the value we bring to our members, making sure they are equipped with the tools, knowledge, and connections necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving global economy’’ he added.
Moving forward, the CCIFB remains dedicated to hosting more events to continuing its mission of advancing trade relations in bolstering deeper economic and cultural ties between Bangladesh and France and facilitating a platform for businesses to grow through collaborative efforts.
The event was followed by dinner.
